Our Founder
Chris Lee Harris grew up on a farm in a small town in Tennessee. Determined to change his trajectory, he spent six months in a library studying successful people and reverse-engineering their methods.
He returned to school at 25, studying engineering, math, physics, and computer science at UCLA. Chris secured a microcomputer and robotics internship at NASA and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering.
By 33 he had invented a life-saving robotic machine, and at 34 founded Best Finance with the purpose of streamlining the mortgage process and digitizing real estate capital markets.

Best Finance was founded with a single premise: if you connect borrower data directly to lender pricing engines and automate the compliance layer, you can cut the average loan timeline in half. We built the infrastructure from scratch -- digital application, automated verifications, and real-time pricing across 200+ programs.
Most lenders specialize. We deliberately went wide, onboarding wholesale partners for conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo, non-QM, DSCR, commercial, construction, fix & flip, and bridge loans. The goal: never tell a qualified borrower “we do not do that.”
